At three o'clock this afternoon we said goodbye to Samson cat and put him to sleep. The cancer had spread to his remaining back leg, the muscle in his eye and the cancer on his lungs was affecting his breathing.
We took him on several adventures yesterday and today, bushwalking, a scenic drive, people/bird watching and a nighttime camp-out in his favorite paddock.
He was so weak but he loved it all with purrs, meows and cuddles. He even found the energy to walk a little.
He was buried with his favorite harness, leash, reflective jacket for nighttime walks, blanket and his string toy, in one of his favorite sleeping places on the property.
He looked so at peace finally.

The bottle of 52 year old chivas regal scotch whiskey in the cupboard seems like a fitting drink to say goodbye to him.
A toast to my baby boy and the adventures we had together. You were a unique soul that I have never found another alike and never will. Goodbye little guy.

My computer is all repaired (<3 metabox), my mouse warranty exchanged for one that works and my birthday gift to myself was a wonderful WACOM INTUOS PRO! Ive always used just graphite tablets as they are cheap and do the job. Its amazing just how much better quality the intuos are.

So thankyou very much to the people who purchased commisions from me, you made the upgrade to a beautiful graphics tablet possible.

First my 10 year old graphics tablet decided it didn't like windows 7 very much, then the pen started dying (not worth it to buy a new one even if they were available), next my new computers usb ports died with amazing blue screen/errors/beeps etc, followed by the usb ports killing a brand new gaming mouse when they died...ALL IN ONE WEEK!

At least the computer and mouse are under warranty and I needed an excuse to buy a new graphics tablet. I also managed to finish a commission before it all went.

It seems I have discovered a deviant art account I have had for 9 years and never used. I only discovered it when I tried to make a second account so I wouldn't fill my main one up with photos (main for digital art). Strangely my brain remembered the password. 0.0
